angels

This is a true story from the point of view of jonathan (Angelo Caangay), Born to blind masseurs, Angie (Gina Alajar) and Rudy (Nonie Buencamino), 10-year old Jonathan is torn between freedom and harsh world vs. family and the burden of responsibility. As if his troubles are not enough, his elder sister, Cherrylou (Weena Basco) is mentally incapacitated.

Rudy and Angie try their very best to provide to their family notwithstanding that they are blind. They use their son as their guide to the house of their clients. They are very adamant that they have to work for their own needs and not rely on the government’s help.

Of course, they have their own set of problems, and one of which is their encounter with the DSWD which would take away their children from them.

But this is not only a story about their problems, rather it is a story of the beautiful love story that the family have for each other and their triumph to be able to face all the challenges together.
