BATANG TRAPO

BATANG TRAPO (RAGS) is a narrative film about two streetchildren whose daily sustenance  depends on selling rags and wiping windshields of motorists. In
spite of being constantly exposed to traffic hazards and other hassles, the two managed to survive and maintain their humour.

An amusing yet touching story on innocence and existence, the film interestingly makes use of the traffic light as central metaphor to the boys' lives.

Performed by  real-life streetchildren William Cajilig and Renante Huerte.

directed by: Mez De Guzman
